Port Elizabeth, South Africa, 29-30 October 2018
Every year, South Africa highlights the critically important role that transport plays in the economy during October Transport Month. It is used to raise awareness on the important role of transport in the economy and to encourage engagements from civil society and business.
The Green Transport Strategy (Draft) of National Department of Transport highlights direct emissions from the road transport sector accounting for 91.2%, with Electric Vehicles promoted as one of the transportation technologies to mitigate fossil-fuel related emissions within the transport sector.
As such, the global growth of Electric Vehicles has complimented the increased market demand of Lithium-ion batteries that form the key component of Electrified Vehicles.
The uYilo eMobility Programme and Shmuel De-Leon Energy are pleased to invite you to attend the Batteries and Electric Vehicle Conference on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th October 2018 to be held at Nelson Mandela University, Engineering Building (276), Gardham Avenue, Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth.
